Boy Scout Troop 253 is based in Sweetwater, TX. This year we have had some amazing accomplishments. Three of our members have obtained their Eagle Scout awards. Joshua Foust began with his project to clean, paint, and add several trash cans at the popular Newman Park. Jonathan Ulbrich also enhanced Newman Park by refurbishing a T33 airplane on display at the park. Toby Milani went a totally different direction by making 15 quilts which were sent to Humanitarian Aid in Utah to be used for people in dire circumstances throughout the world. We are very proud of our young men and their accomplishments.
